About Me

I’m a cognitive explorer, fuelled by my curiosity and drive to get out of my comfort zone and push myself to do and be more. In my view, the path to thriving is being a little bit more curious about the world around us and ourselves.

For over a decade, I worked with senior leaders across politics and the non-profit and higher education sectors. I also have a PhD in Political Studies, which focused on political marketing and organisation, as well as a background in communications.

However, throughout my career, I kept finding myself in jobs that I excelled at but that provided little room for professional growth or any firm career trajectory. I often felt frustrated and unfulfilled. By the age of 30, I had achieved all the goals I had set for myself and had plateaued. For four years, I stumbled along without any purpose or ambition and ended up burnt out and miserable.

In 2022, after the lifequake of Long COVID struck, I decided it was time to transform my life. I took a ‘sabbatical’ and started to develop a personal strategy. Each month, I was setting goals for myself and inching closer to what would become my ultimate goal - a new career and life for myself. I am now an ICF Level 2 Certified Executive Coach. I have taken this further and explored positive and humanistic psychology in my own time, which I bring to my coaching process.

Throughout my career, I’ve served as a trusted advisor, mentor, and thought partner to my peers, colleagues, and the senior leaders with whom I’ve worked. Today, I combine those skills with my coaching expertise to support my clients on their path to thriving. Whether you need to get unstuck, refine your ideas, or find the right solutions, I’m your professional partner and confidante — someone you can rely on for insight, encouragement, and accountability (we also have fun doing it). It sounds selfish, but coaching genuinely brings me joy and fulfilment. I love watching my clients grow into their potential.

Curiosity drives me. It benefits my clients both in that I’m always asking questions and I bring a range of knowledge to our sessions. Plus, if I don’t know something, I’ll find the right resource for you.

When I am not coaching, you will find me writing my Substack, The Curiosity Journal, or reading in my garden with a cup of tea. I am also a major sports fan, and my dream job would be coaching F1 drivers, tennis players, or cricketers. Either that or conducting an orchestra. I have a cat, Matilda, who loves to greet my clients and then curl up in my lap during coaching sessions. I’m a proud childless cat lady.
